Dance Belts: What They Are & How to Choose
What is a dance belt?
A dance belt is a supportive undergarment worn by male dancers under tights or leggings. It provides support and a smooth, clean line under tights.
Do I need a dance belt?
Male dancers wear a dance belt under tights for support and a smooth silhouette. It's commonly recommended once boys begin regular ballet training — ask the instructor if you're unsure.
Full-seat vs thong — which should I get?
A thong dance belt (M003, M006, M007) leaves no visible line under tights — the most common choice. A full-seat belt (M002) adds more coverage in the back.

How do I size a dance belt?
Dance belts are sized by waist measurement in inches (ranges from 24-26 up to 40-42 inches), not pant sizing, and run true to size.
What are Body Wrappers dance belts made of?
Microfiber and polyester, with a three-layer support pouch and soft, smooth seams that stay invisible under tights. ProBELT styles (M006/M007) add a 2-inch or 4-inch hip-hugging elastic waistband that won't ride up. Nude is standard; the M007 also comes in Cappuccino and Espresso. Dance belts are non-returnable for hygiene.
