“Other ballet flats make my feet look like I’ve never heard of ballet”

“These are bendy like my foot, they are comfy and fit perfectly”

“I feel completely wrapped and I don’t have to worry about those annoying added elastics”

The shape of the foot is a testament to the intricate interplay of form and function, a masterpiece of nature's design. Yet so many ballet shoes are designed and manufactured in a way where, when wearing them, the complexity and beauty of the foot is diluted into a square ish shape.

Not these.

Body Wrappers® has been wrapping the dancer’s figure for over 40 years and now they are wrapping the foot in a way that shows and accentuates every articulation of the foot.

Functionally, these shoes lead the pack with intelligent padding size and mindful placement of them, providing a soft yet resilient surface for propulsion and balance.

The vamp lies in a sweet spot south of the midline of the metatarsals, exposing the summit or “peak of the arch” in the foot. It’s not too low or too high.

The fabric wraps so effectively around the foot that EVERY curve is shown. There are no bunches, no gaps, and not even a need for elastic straps that end up creating more bunching and an uncomfortable, or sometimes painful, sensation when tucked in.

The breathable stretchable and bouncy fabric allows for both sliding AND stopping on dance floors.

Impeccable flats for contemporary and ballet.

Love these, better than Hanamis!

I have tapered feet (sweetheart shaped) and I love how these are super stretchy and mold to your feet. I’m able to have great toe splay (more than my Bodywrappers Instafit 4 way stretch which I also love!) which helps me balance better and use all my toe muscles. The shoe is double layered with the inner layer very stretchy as well and thin. For sizing, I wear a size women’s 7 and purchased sizes 5.5 (my usual size in Instafit), 6, 6.5, and 7. The sizing seems to be different from the other style, so I prefer size 6.5 for now. I tried size 7 which felt great too but it does stretch out a tinch which I only accounted for comfort at first! So I’m using the 6.5 and returned the 5.5 and 6. Hopefully the 6.5 won’t stretch too much but that will be my fault bc the guide says 1-1.5 smaller than shoe size. I’ll deal with it later if I need too, I’m very picky with sensory issues.

The fabric is super soft, the padding under the ball of the foot is firm and supportive but NOT bulky thank goodness. It doesn’t throw off my balance or distract me. The inside feels seamless, there’s nothing scratchy only soft, stretchy, and supportive. I love the arch support as well as it really wraps around my foot showing off my arches. The color is beautiful. Hanami is more of a yellow peachy salmon color, and these are more of a light peach pink. Very pretty. You won’t regret getting these! I can imagine these will fit tons of foot shapes bc the fabric is so stretchy and great bounce back.

Wonderful but tighter than expected

These are very good quality. I like the materials used and how they hug the arch. Per the description, I ordered 1 size down from my street shoe size and I could barely get them in my feet. After a couple of uses they stretched out enough that I’m not working too hard to resist curling my toes, but next time I will order my street shoe size.
