The Boston Ballet School founded in 1953 by Virginia Williams, offers programs for students age three through college. Recognized for it’s commitment to education, Boston Ballet also offers outreach programs that include Citydance a workshop for 3,000 public school children, Taking Steps a dance and theatre arts after school program for teenage girls, Adaptive Dance for Down Syndrome children and Lecture-demonstrations intimate performances brought to schools in the Commonwealth by Boston II, the junior ensemble.

Body Wrappers National Sales Meeting 2007 Debuts Angelo Luzio Shoe Line and New Factory Expansion
Elizabeth, NJ...Body Wrappers National Sales Meeting headed up by Michael Lee, VP of Sales took place September 28, 29 and 30th at the Hilton Hotel in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Marie West, President introduced the new Body Wrappers 2008 line and Luigi Luzio, President/Designer and John-Anthony Luzio, VP of Product & Style Development introduced the Angelo Luzio shoe line to the sales team.
The sales team was given a surprise tour of the new apparel manufacturing expansion of the Body Wrappers factory in Elizabeth conducted by Michael Rubin CEO and Tom Sheppard Production Manager.
Each year three Sales Reps are chosen for outstanding performance in the categories of Gold, Silver and Bronze. This year’s honorees included:
Gold
John Rebuck who has represented Body Wrappers since 1984; his territory includes GA, NC, SC, and VA.
Silver
Brad & Cathy French started with Body Wrappers in 1984 and their territory includes IL, MI, MO, KS, WI, NE, SD, ND, IA, MN, and part of IN.
Bronze
Martha Bass joined Body Wrappers in 1983 and her territory is AL, MS, TN, and part of FL.

Body Wrappers 25th Anniversary
New York... Body Wrappers, Attitudes in Dressing, one of the
few "Made in America" apparel manufacturers left in
the United States is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Body Wrappers is also offering their retail customers a direct
connection to the factory inventory 24 hours a day, seven days
a week with their informative Business2Business website. On the
site a customer can log on and find real time inventory information
as well as many other resources.
To help mark their 25th Anniversary, Body Wrappers will reintroduce
the
original Le Wrap; a one piece garment that wraps around the body
and ties to
create five jumpsuit looks and five pants looks, 10 different
styles all in one. The
original design was made with a non-stretch printed fabric. The
2006 25th
Anniversary version has been redesigned with a solid stretch fabric.
Marie West founder and President started the company on Jan.17,
1981 and soon partnered up with Nicholas Karant. In 1983 she was
joined by Michael Rubin, partner and CEO and together they have
built Body Wrappers into one of the most successful dance apparel
companies in the world with over 100 employees.
The Body Wrappers factory is located in Elizabeth, New Jersey
in the 1890 historic landmark building that housed the Singer
Sewing machine company. Body Wrappers uses about 167,000 square
feet of the building on five levels. Approximately 50,000 square
feet of space is used to warehouse inventory. The fifth floor
is the home of the company's photography studio and some storage.
The fourth floor inventories fabric and contains a large automated
cutting room. The third and second levels both hold inventory
with the second level also staging shipping and finishing operations.
The main floor houses the sewing, pattern making, design, manufacturing
and business offices as well as the customer service department.

Body Wrappers Introduces Princess Aurora™
New York City_____Body Wrappers is introducing Princess Aurora™,
a complete and coordinated collection of dance apparel for the
young dancing princess 3-10 years old. The Princess Aurora™
line includes everything a dancing princess needs such as ballet
and tap apparel, cover-ups, loungewear and slippers, tiaras, satin
decorated ballet slippers, dance bags, book covers and snoods.
To help promote this new brand, a story/paper doll book entitled,
"Princess Aurora(TM) A special Day in Her Life", will
be available at dance specialty shops carrying the brand. The
book includes a cutout paper doll replica of Princess Aurora and
cutout paper doll outfits that appear in the story on Princess
Aurora during the course of her day.

Value Cotton/Lycra Leotards
New York City_____Body Wrappers announced today
Body Wrappers will release a new leotard line in February called
the Value Cotton/Lycra Leotard Group, which will be available
in four styles and three colors, Black, Light Pink and white in
sizes x-small, small, medium, large, x-large for Adults and 3-4
(only three styles) 4-6, 6x-7, 8-10, 12-14 for Girls.
What makes them different from other brands is that they have
a front liner called Poly QWIK-WIK(R) that moves the moisture
away from the body. They will be ready to ship out into the stores
February 15th, 2004. By June 15th, Body Wrappers will produce
two additional colors in the line of Light Blue and Burgundy.

Body Wrappers® Launches Premiere Collection
for Ballet
New York City_____Body Wrappers the American manufacturer of dance and team apparel is launching a new brand called Premiere Collection, which has been exclusively designed for the career ballet dancer.
The Premiere Collection will consist of leotards, warm-ups and cover-ups and was designed with the idea of providing the perfect fitting leotards and coordinates with full attention paid to all areas of fit, construction and inner treatments to enhance the way a dancer feels.
Marie West the President and founder of Body Wrappers says, "This beautiful and fully functional brand of ballet apparel is personally a great achievement for me. After talking with many career dancers I learned that there was an opportunity to supply them with a product that simply was not available to them. I set out with the goal of developing a leotard that would not ride up and one that provided the correct support where needed. With the new Premiere Collection, I am confident that Body Wrappers has done just that."
The Premiere Collection is available in adult sizes x-small, small, medium, large and tall and will be available to the retailer for ordering January 2004 and then shipping will begin for a March delivery.
